Description Annotated bibliography The purpose of this assessment is to use your search strategy (Assessment 2) to locate evidence and to document your evidence using the correct format for an Annotated Bibliography. Run the search that you developed in Assessment 2 and construct an annotated bibliography of five different types of references (e.g. journal article, book, book chapter, report, online resource from reliable and credible source etc.) that you find. You may not use book reviews, letters to the editor, or commentaries. You must find data-based articles (this includes systematic literature reviews), other than for newspaper articles or web site material. Weighting 35% of final Grade Format / Length / Duration You will receive guidance on the key elements of an annotated bibliography during lectures and tutorials. Note that your annotated bibliography should include: References presented in alphabetical order References presented in the correct Harvard reference style for each type of reference The annotation for each source should be approximately 200 words. The annotation should include: description of main focus of the paper; discussion of methods used (if appropriate); comment on how or why this source is useful in answering your research question; any limitations of the source You must attach to your final annotated bibliography a copy of the front page of each source that you used.
