CRM Proposal: After graduating from CSU you wish to start a CRM consulting company for Small businesses. Provide a 1) design for a website or website , a 2) marketing plan including objectives and goals (non-financial and financial), 3) target markets (Why and how you found, identified and segmented these target markets and grow them- please provide thorough logic and justification), 4) personnel, 5) products/services that you will provide and why, and 6) pricing with thorough justification and profitability/ROI and budget, campaign management, and evaluation. 7.) Also provide which software solution/s you will recommend/use.
7.) Select one or more vendors to review. Capture an image of a page of the software. Identify the key features of the software/s – what can it do for a companys database marketing efforts? What are the hardware requirements? Do you need specialized IT professionals to use/maintain the db? Identify the number of users (how many licenses sold), the typical user (small, medium, or large companies in specific industries) and the price per license/user to buy or use. Find a case example of an installation and what the company was able to achieve.
Software providers include Act2000; Goldmine; Maximizer; Commence RM; Saleslogix; mySAP (marketing modules); Siebel (marketing modules); E.piphany; Unica; Teradata; Xchange; SuperOffice CRM; Salesforce.com; Primeresponse; Filemaker Pro; Broadvision Enterprise; the new Microsoft product (Great Plains); or others upon approval with instructor.
1.Jess- I can use Squarespace or Wix to build this out, this can easily be done last
2.Karthik- This will likely need done early this week (will need to work with Lewis once products and services are decided upon to identify marketing plan). Plan would be how we plan to get the word out about our new company and what success looks like in terms of objectives in years 1-5.
3.Karthik- This would naturally follow 2. This would be what types of businesses we think we would like to work with. Perhaps small startups for landscaping, real estate, or retail providers (these would keep it simple).
4.Lewis- Can be done anytime
5.Lewis- Needs to be done early (will be lengthier than previous sections). I would think obviously a CRM is given. Hubspot has super low prices for small businesses and scales with features and price the larger a firm grows. I will also do a write up on salesforce for larger businesses with bigger budget. We would provide these CRMs at a discount as an arrangement from working with our company. I also think providing consulting/coaching would be a service we provide. A consultant to build out a new firms IDIC plan basically. Lastly, some other ideas could be loyalty programs, print or digital marketing, etc.
6.Jess/Karthik- Jess can provide pricing and ROI and budget, Karthik could take campaign management and evaluation. This will need to be done last after products and personnel are completed.
