it’s an english assignment, i have to write a film analysis on a scene from harry potter and the prisoner of Azkaban ( the time turner scene), i already wrote something but it’s too much like my friend’s draft so i need help completing it, and not make it look like i copied my friends. this is what i wrote so far.
Good evening everyone, i’d like to welcome you back to my youtube channel. During this video I will be analyzing and commenting on the film Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, yes..same film like the last video, however a different scene. To begin , a question you might all be wondering about, is how do we analyze a film, or a small snippet of a film?
Well Films are mostly connected to novels and short stories that deliver an unexpected plot. They mainly contain the same known genres such as romantic, historical, detective, thriller, adventure, horror, and lastly science fiction. The methods a person usually uses to analyze a film are closely alike to those used to analyze literature. There are also various film methods used to conduct the plot or the story. Tone, music, lighting, camera angles, and editing are all things to consider. What matters is that you know how all of the elements work together, to create the final outcome.
Now let’s start talking about Harry potter.
Harry potter and the prisoner of azkaban was originally directed by Alfonso Cuarón, and was officially released in the 31st of may 2004, the film includes so many characters however the main characters in this scene are Harry Potter, Hermoine Granger, Ron Weasly, Albus Dumbledore, Sirius Black and Remus Lupin. This scene takes place in britain because it’s originally a british series written by the famous author J.K Rowling.
I’m going to provide a brief description of this scene before jumping into the examination.
This scene begins when Dumbledore arrives and orders everyone to leave the building, ominously implying that Harry and Hermione will be able to use Hermione’s time capsule to return and rescue both Black and Buckbeak. Both Harry and Hermione are plunged into the past, where they save Buckbeak just before his death, after Hermione flips her hourglass necklace three times.As Harry observes the Dementor series, he learns that he was the one who summoned the patronus, and he is both shocked and perplexed to see that his patronus has taken the form of a stag, which he immediately recognizes as Prongs, his father’s animagi form. Harry and Hermione traveled to the tower where Black was stuck after saving his past self from the Dementors, and rescued Black, taking him back to Buckbeak for safety. The very next day, Harry is surprised to discover that Professor Lupin is departing Hogwarts because he is scared of what happened the night before. Dumbledore pays Harry a visit and offers him wise parental guidance on the events of the day.

As we can see, It is a fantasy series because they are novels that contain fantastical elements magic, magical creatures, ghosts, etc. Fantasy is the number one subcategory of the film harry potter and always has been.
