Does not make an effort to participate in the learning community; did

Introduction

In this course, we have looked at how cultural aspects, such as food and diet help determine our culture and where we come from. This week we will explore how cultural similarities, and differences, related to food help to define who we are and what we expect to experience in other cultures.

The guiding question for this week:

Why would fast food outlets (such as McDonald’s) be the same in other countries and why would they be different?

Instructions:

  1. You are expected to post your original response to the question asked by day 3 each week (The work for each week begins on Monday and closes on Sunday night). Initial response- at least 150 words; peer responses(2) 100 words each. Proper grammar and APA format. Include at least 1 reference and in-text citation to all responses
  2. You also have to post responses to two other people in the class by day six each. Your reply to other students should build upon what they have said, relate to your own experiences, relate to particular aspects of the course etc.
  3. You should demonstrate that you have read, processed, and responded appropriately to their contribution as if you were discussing their comments face-to-face.
  4. Please note that no credit can be given for any discussion posted before or after the Monday to Sunday time frame for discussion each week.

Please post your initial response by 23:59 CST Wednesday and comment on the posts of two classmates by 23:59 CST Sunday.

Submission Instructions:
Include assignment-specific and university/program policies related to the assignment here. These can include late work policies, expectations regarding proper citations, acceptable means of responding to peer feedback, and other expectations.
