Briefly describe the features on the ECG shown above which confirm the diagnosis of an acute MI. Your answer must include:

specify the location of the MI
name the coronary artery that is most likely involved in the MI and the most likely cardiac structure(s) that will be affected by the MI

Explain the most likely reason for the inverted P wave that is noted in leads II, III and aVF. Your explanation must include:
A brief description of how the pathway of electrical conduction in this patients heart is different from the pathway of conduction in a normal heart.
An explanation of the direction of electrical current in relation to Lead II in this patient.

The pathophysiology of myocardial infarction (MI) is usually associated with a progression of atherosclerotic coronary artery disease, with or without plaque rupture. However, in patients with a history of cocaine use, additional mechanisms are often involved in the pathophysiology of an MI.
Provide an explanation of two (2) possible mechanisms for myocardial infarction that is induced by an acute dose of cocaine. Your answer must explain how these mechanisms cause an acute MI.
