Title: e-portfolio Overview: The e-portfolio provides an opportunity for you to produce a piece of reflective work which assess how your key skills and abilities have developed during the course of your undergraduate study. Using psychological concepts, you will be asked to consider your background, learning experiences, learner development and employability / future development needs. You will relate the concepts and theories relayed to you in the lectures to your own experiences. You will also submit evidence acquired throughout the year of engagement in the psychology community (e.g. book club, film club, research participation). Drawing broadly on Rolfes (2001) reflective model you will write four sections of around 500 words each, distributed fairly equally to meet the 2000 word count: Section 1, Planning here you should identify goals that you established during your study, whether these goals were achieved, and what steps/strategies were involved in achieving your goals. Section 2, Experience here you should provide a descriptive critical interpretation of your undergraduate learning experiences. Identifying positive and negative experiences is crucial, as is identifying how you will use your learning experiences to enable lifelong learning and professional development. Apply to your experiences psychological concepts/theories taken from a minimum of 3 lectures across the course. Section 3, Reflection you will evaluate key experiences (academic and otherwise) in the light of achievement of main goals (key skills, knowledge, awareness, motivation gained). You should discuss the bigger picture of your personal development. Include some reflection on the preparation for and delivery of the student-run lecture at the end of the course. Section 4, Prospective view you will be required to identify future goals relating to your academic and professional development, and indicate a strategy for how these will be achieved.
