Chocolate Mortality Company Limited is a business that sells 3D printed chocolates. They have offices in many Australian cities.
The company has also established a sales and marketing operation in Tokyo, Japan. The Tokyo office has increased sales by 8% ($1,350,000) by hiring Japanese teenagers to taste-test their products and provide product reviews on their social media profiles.
The companys mission is to be a provider of high-quality chocolate sculptures. They purchase the right to make and sell chocolate sculptures using others trademarks, e.g., Superman.

Over the last two years, productivity has dropped due to an increase in conflicts in the virtual teams. Morale in the business has dropped and there has been an increase in the turnover of staff.
The teams struggle to make decisions. Most of the conflicts appear to be frustration about the project tasks. However, some issues appear to be related to personality conflicts. The Human Resources manager thinks the solution is for staff to just keep their mouths shut, i.e., to keep their negative emotions to themselves.
